Nurses are caregivers. We are remembered for our soothing touch, the back rubs, compassion and gentle care that we deliver. Unfortunatley, these acts rarely are documented or placed on a care plan. Many nurses report that in an era of increased work loads and demanding environments that theraputic touch is almost a thing of the past.
